Lucas and I met 4 years ago at a ice cream store named GDritzy's. From that day on we started hanging out and getting to know each other. At the time, Lucas would invite me to "church gatherings" to hang out. Even though I was not a Christian, he exposed me to church services and hang outs to where I got to meet new people. Throughout the years, I started to listen to the sermons and gain my own personal relationship with God. Through this journey, Lucas has supported me and helped me grow spiritually to know the Lord more. About 2 years ago, I was going to worship band practices they had every Monday night (because I knew Lucas would be there playing guitar). I did not know any of the music, but after many months of watching the practices, I started to learn the harmonies and become familiar with the songs. I felt a strong calling to be a worship leader. I began signing on stage. Being a worship leader not only help grow my love for the Lord every day, but it also held me accountable through my daily choices. Lucas and I know serve on the worship team together which is something I will never take for granted. God has placed such a wonderful man in my life and has provided me with the peace and comfort knowing we choose to follow Christ.
On February 2, 2013, my best friend proposed to me. This was a day that I offered all the glory to God.
We have a dog named Maggie, which provides a lot of joy in my life, and not so much joy in Lucas's. :)
We love to travel and hope to see more parts of the world someday. This picture was taken in Palm Springs, California where we visit my dad a couple times a year.
This year is going to be the time of our lives where we learn, grow, and love more than ever before. We are very excited for this journey, and want to share our memories with you. :)
