Okay, let me start this blog off by saying I am in no way addicted to gum. I do enjoy the different flavors and the freedom to chew on gum when I want. So essentially, if I buy gum in bulk at Sams club, then I will probably eat it if it just laying around.
Lucas on the other hand is very logical when it comes to the "pieces" of gum that we have in our house. He calculates how much gum we should be eating each day to save money... If it were up to me, I would eat every single piece in one day. Apparently out of the 12 packs of gum we own, I have eaten over 8 packs in 2 weeks. I know it sounds like a lot, but like it said, it is second nature to grab a pack if it is right in front of my face. :)
I have noticed that Lucas has continued to hide packs in his "man cave". So every time I go in there I grab a pack and just start running for my life. I don't get very far because he is right behind me and tackles me for the pack of gum. (Oh, the little things).
You think that by my last gum thief post we would learn how to deal with this "situation", but it has only progressed into a game.
Now, Lucas has logically calculated how to save money on eating less gum. This is the formula: Less gum = no cavities = save money on dental appointments=save money on buying gum= happy Lucas= gum craving not filled by Hannah.
In conclusion, hopefully we will find a happy medium. If not, then it saves for good stories for our future children.
Over and Out,
Mrs. Ball
